In this live performance, the Franc Archive , shared his screen in front of the Breaking the News installation, demonstrating the process of manipulating news narratives. Every move, mistake, and experiment was exposed to the audience. Over the course of three hours, they created 11 designs, researching and crafting headlines, utilizing AI tools to generate content, and applying graphic design techniques to shape various narratives on the spot. This performance highlighted how easily anyone can mock up a press outlet online and influence the flow of information. Presented as part of ESNS, in collaboration with Talent van Hier and Noorderlicht, the session was accompanied by the immersive Breaking the News installation, which featured hundreds of designs and AI-generated voices reading headlines, creating a chaotic and engaging atmosphere.
